He graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul in 2006. He studied Medical Residency in Infectious Diseases at the Emílio Ribas Institute of Infectious Diseases, São Paulo, from 2008 to 2011. He was trained in Field Epidemiology by the Training Program in Epidemiology Applied to the Services of the Unified Health System of the State of São Paulo – EPISUS-SP from 2011 to 2013. He holds a Master’s degree in Collective Health from the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de São Paulo (2011-2013) and PhD in Collective Health from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo – FMUSP (2013-2017). He is a physician at the Emílio Ribas Institute of Infectious Diseases and the Centre for Epidemiological Surveillance “prof Alexandre Vranjac” and is currently Director of the Department of Immunisation and Immuno-Preventable Diseases (DPNI/SVSA), responsible for the National Immunisation Programme (PNI) of the Ministry of Health.
