Graduated in Biomedicine at the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (2002), Master in Parasite Biology at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (2005) and PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (2013) with part held in the AIDS Vaccine Research Lab (UW-Madison-USA). She has been working in the Technological Development of Bio-Manguinhos for 16 years, where she participated in several vaccine and biopharmaceutical development projects. She is currently the Scientific Leader and Manager of the Implementation Project of a Regional Hub for Development and Production of RNA Vaccines for the World Health Organization, VDTEC- Bio-Manguinhos-FIOCRUZ, which has as scope the development of vaccines and therapies based on RNA, besides being part of the coordinating committee of Fio-Cancer, part of the translational programs network of Fiocruz.
