Bio-Manguinhos/Fiocruz

PhD in Health Surveillance from INCQS/Fiocruz and MSc in Biochemistry from UFRJ. She holds specializations in Molecular Biology (UnB), Production Engineering with an emphasis on Productivity and Quality (INT), and Industrial Management of Immunobiologicals (COPPE/UFRJ). She earned her degree in Biomedicine from UERJ.

She has been with Bio-Manguinhos/Fiocruz since 2000, where she has built extensive experience in Collective Health, with a focus on Public Health.

Throughout her career, she has been involved in the development and quality assurance of immunobiologicals, including viral vaccines such as yellow fever, as well as in innovative technological platforms, regulation, and biosafety.

Her main areas of expertise include quality, good manufacturing practices, vaccine development, plant-based platforms, regulation, and biosafety. She previously served as Deputy Director of Quality at Bio-Manguinhos/Fiocruz and currently serves as Director of Bio-Manguinhos/Fiocruz.
