Objective

The International Symposium on Immunobiologicals – ISI has as main objectives:

By bringing together professionals from Fiocruz and reference entities, teaching, research and government, the event seeks to promote synergy by consolidating collaborative networks of scientific and technological research, nationally and internationally.

Target audience

The 7th ISI is aimed at all professionals involved in public health, researchers and/or students in the immunobiological or related areas, collaborators from Fiocruz and from institutions involved in the production and/or technological development of vaccines, biopharmaceuticals, or reagents for diagnosis, whether from national institutions or from other countries.

Participation in the International Symposium on Immunobiologicals is open to the public and free of charge, with attendance limitation according to the physical space, but there will be no limitation in the number of participants for the virtual modality.

The International Symposium on Immunobiologicals (ISI) is a scientific event that addresses various topics in the area of immunobiological knowledge, including vaccines, biopharmaceuticals and reagents for diagnosis, as well as everything related to technological development, production, processing, marketing and management in these topics.

The organizing institution of the 7th ISI is Fiocruz, which is the main research and innovation center in the immunology area in the country, being also an international reference, for being the largest vaccine producer in South America.

- Cutting-edge scientific program

All lectures, workshops, pre- and post-event webinars, courses and oral presentations are defined by the scientific committee of the event taking into consideration the most relevant and current issues of interest to the target audience.

- Networking

Historically, the event brings together the main centers of research, innovation and production of immunobiologicals in the country and with increasing relevance in the foreign market as well. The 7th ISI 2023 will prioritize the participant’s experience during the 3 days of the event, with interactive activities and plenty of room to meet new people and reconnect with old acquaintances.

- Poster exhibition

One of the highlights of ISI is the scientific poster exhibition, where participants can present their latest work, exchange experiences with their peers, hear feedback and suggestions about their findings, increase the visibility of their research, and compete for prizes.
