He holds a degree in Pharmaceutical Biochemistry from the Federal University of Ouro Preto (UFOP), a Master’s in Immunobiological Technology from the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz/Bio-Manguinhos) with a focus on technological prospecting, a specialization in Regulatory Affairs from ICTQ, and a PhD in Sciences (School of Chemistry/UFRJ) focused on Management and Technological Innovation of Products and Processes.
He has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, working in research and development of biopharmaceuticals and vaccines, clinical development, pharmacovigilance, R&D project management, technological partnerships, and healthcare business development.
He has held strategic roles at Fiocruz/Bio-Manguinhos, including Advisor to the Deputy Directorate for Innovation, and was later appointed Deputy Director for Innovation of the institution.
His career is marked by the integration of technological innovation, regulatory affairs, and product development in healthcare.
He currently serves as Deputy Director for Innovation at Bio-Manguinhos/Fiocruz.
