He holds a PhD in Immunology from the Technical University of Denmark, along with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and a Master’s degree in Veterinary Sciences with a focus on Microbiology and Immunology from CSK Himachal Pradesh Agricultural University, India.
He has extensive international experience in immunology research, vaccine development, and advanced drug delivery systems, working across academic and research institutions in India, Denmark, and Canada.
His career includes positions at the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (India), as well as postdoctoral research at the Technical University of Denmark and the University of Copenhagen, where he later served as Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy.
He is currently Principal Scientist and Group Leader at the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Organization (VIDO), University of Saskatchewan, Canada.
His research focuses on immunology, nanotechnology, and drug delivery systems for the development of advanced subunit and nucleic acid-based vaccines and adjuvants, as well as strategies to modulate respiratory mucosal immunity through novel adjuvant approaches.
He currently serves as Principal Scientist and Group Leader at the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Organization (VIDO), University of Saskatchewan.
