Danielle Cunha

Bio-Manguinhos/Fiocruz

She is a biomedical scientist with a Master’s degree in Biochemistry from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), with extensive experience in research and development of immunobiologicals, nanotechnology, oncology, and diagnostics for tropical diseases.

She worked at bioMérieux in the development of rapid diagnostic tests, strengthening her expertise in healthcare innovation technologies.

Since 2013, she has been at Bio-Manguinhos/Fiocruz, where she works on research and development projects focused on innovative RNA-based therapies, including RNA interference approaches for breast cancer treatment.

She has experience in protein structural studies, nanoparticle development, mRNA vaccines, and R&D project management in biotechnology.

She currently serves as Project Manager for Innovative RNA Interference Therapies at Bio-Manguinhos/Fiocruz.
