She is a biologist, educator, and science teacher in basic education, with a strong focus on science communication and health education.
She is the founding director of the Mário Schenberg Institute, where she leads initiatives aimed at science outreach and strengthening the dialogue between science and society.
She founded the movement “Todos pelas Vacinas” (All for Vaccines) and served on the communication coordination team of the COVID-19 Observatory Brazil, developing strategies and materials to promote public engagement in health during the pandemic.
Her work integrates education, science communication, and public policy, with a focus on addressing vaccine hesitancy and complacency.
Her contributions have been recognized with several awards, including the Brazilian Ministry of Health’s Expoepi Award, the Mercury Summit Award, the USP Alumni Award, and the TikTok Awards, highlighting her innovative approach to science communication.
She currently serves as Founding Director of the Mário Schenberg Institute.
