Guilherme del Padre is graduated in Biotechnological Engineering from Universidade Estadual Paulista and holding a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo. He has experience in developing cell lines, optimizing and scaling up bioprocesses, as well as engineering projects focused on the pharmaceutical industry. Currently, he is the Scientific Director of Biotimize, a 100% Brazilian CDMO dedicated to expanding access to technologies and infrastructure for the development of biopharmaceuticals. In this role, he coordinates research, development, and production strategies, leading projects from the laboratory stage to industrial-scale manufacturing. He is also responsible for implementing and managing the quality assurance system, ensuring regulatory compliance with the relevant agencies. Working at the interface between R&D, engineering, and regulation, he strives to ensure the technical and regulatory feasibility of projects, contributing to the advancement of biotechnology in Brazil.
