Gustavo Mendes has a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the State University of Maringá, a master’s degree in Toxicology Applied to Health Surveillance from the State University of Londrina and a specialist in Health Surveillance from the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz).
He worked as a research scientist at the International Vaccine Institute (IVI) and as a specialist in Health Regulation and Surveillance at the National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA). He is currently director of Regulatory Affairs, Quality and Clinical Trials at Fundação Butantan.
