Julie Joseph holds a Masters in Medical Molecular Biology from the University of Westminster (UK) and a PhD in Biomedicine from the University of Würzburg (Germany), as well as a postdoctoral fellowship in infectious diseases and cell signaling from the University of Ottawa (Canada). She has worked in the vaccine industry, where she supported the development, optimization, and validation of immunoassays for use in preclinical studies and clinical trials. She is currently a senior biologist/evaluator at Health Canada’s Centre for Vaccines, Clinical Trials, and Biostatistics (CVTCB), where she leads regulatory reviews and batch release assessments for a variety of bacterial and viral vaccines.
