Lely Guzman holds a Master’s degree in Bioethics and Epidemiology; she is a specialist in Health Entity Management and Public Administration. She coordinated the Technical Unit on Family, Gender, and Life Course at PAHO Brazil; she was the Incident Manager for the Measles Outbreak at PAHO Brazil. In Colombia, she worked at the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, in the Vice Ministry of Health as an Immunization Advisor; she served as the Director of Public Health for the state of Guajira; and she was the Director of Public Health and Director of Service Provision for the state of Boyacá. She was a temporary consultant for PAHO in the surveillance of new vaccines and immunization in Central and South American countries. Currently, she is an Immunization Advisor at the PAHO Brazil Representation, coordinating the Immunization initiative.
