He is a hematologist with expertise in bone marrow transplantation and cell therapy.
He is a Associate Professor (Livre-Docente) at the University of São Paulo School of Medicine (USP) and a permanent faculty member of the Graduate Program at the Israelita Albert Einstein Faculty of Health Sciences.
He serves as Coordinator of the Hematology, Bone Marrow Transplantation and Cell Therapy Program at Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein.
He has previously served as President of the Brazilian Society of Hematology, Hemotherapy and Cell Therapy, and of the Brazilian Society for Bone Marrow Transplantation and Cell Therapy.
He has extensive clinical, academic, and institutional experience in hematology, transplantation, and advanced cell-based therapies.
He currently serves as Coordinator of the Hematology, Bone Marrow Transplantation and Cell Therapy Program at Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein.
