Patricia Bozza is a doctor from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (FCM/UERJ) and has a doctorate in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the Oswaldo Cruz Institute (IOC/Fiocruz) and a postdoctoral degree from Beth Israel Hospital, Harvard Medical School.
She is a member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences (ABC) and the World Academy of Sciences for the Advancement of Science in Developing Countries (TWAS). She works as a senior researcher and head of the Immunopharmacology Laboratory at the Oswaldo Cruz Institute (IOC / Fiocruz) and coordinates the “Health Challenges: Quality, equity and access” task force of S20 Brasil.
