Peter Dull previously led the clinical franchise for meningitis vaccine development at Novartis Vaccines, was an Epidemiologic Intelligence Service Officer in the Division of Meningitis and Special Pathogens at the U.S. CDC, and completed subspecialty training in adult infectious diseases at Emory University. He is currently the Deputy Director for Integrated Clinical Vaccine Development in the Gates Foundation’s Division of Global Health, providing technical and strategic guidance on clinical development to the Foundation’s program strategy teams. His group works to accelerate vaccine development by leveraging correlates of protection, optimizing the vaccination schedule, and developing novel combination vaccines. In addition, he leads the Foundation’s vaccine development activities for prophylactic HPV vaccines, including efforts on new product development and reduced dosing schedules.
