Patrícia Neves has a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology and a master’s degree in Parasite Biology from the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz), and a degree in Biomedicine from the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). For 16 years she has worked in the Technological Development of Bio-Manguinhos / Fiocruz, where she participated in several vaccine and biopharmaceutical development projects.
She is currently Scientific Leader and Project Manager for the Implementation of a Regional RNA Vaccine Development and Production Hub for the World Health Organization, which aims to develop RNA-based vaccines and therapies. She is also a member of the Fio-Câncer coordination committee, part of Fiocruz’s network of translational programs.
