Eder Gatti holds a degree in Medicine from the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul and completed his Medical Residency in Infectious Diseases at the Emílio Ribas Institute of Infectology in São Paulo. He has a Ph.D. in Collective Health from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of São Paulo and a Master’s degree in Collective Health from the Santa Casa de São Paulo School of Medical Sciences. He also completed Field Epidemiology Training through the Applied Epidemiology Training Program for the Unified Health System (SUS) in the State of São Paulo.
He is a physician at the Emílio Ribas Institute of Infectology and the Center for Surveillance and is currently the Director of the National Immunization Program at the Ministry of Health.
